Helg vs TimeTree

A shared calendar, or a shared week.

TimeTree is a shared calendar built for groups, with a conversation on every event. Helg isn’t a calendar: it’s where a household’s to-dos are captured and then decided once a week, within the hours the week has. Many families use a shared calendar for appointments and Helg for everything that has to get done around them.

Why tasks need their own place

A calendar is good at things that happen at a time. Most of a household’s work doesn’t: renew the car insurance, book the dentist, sort the school form. Put those on a calendar and they either clutter it or get forgotten. Helg holds them, decides them weekly, and puts the ones with dates back on your calendar.
